Rea Shaw, who is originally from Northern Ireland, has lived in Dartmouth since 1986. She holds a Master of Social Work from the Dalhousie University School of Social Work, and has worked in the field of family violence for more than 30 years. While much of this time was spent working in family shelters, for the last four years Rea has worked as a therapist specializing in individual, couple, and family therapy on a broad range of concerns.
